Meditation practice can be difficult and challenging because we are facing ourselves without any filters or expectations. If we undertake this kind of practice it can be important to understand how resistance can come up for us. Resistance can take the form of simply not getting to the cushion, not being able to stay there, drifting from the actual practice we are doing while on the cushion, and worst of all, developing some kind of logic as to why our resistance is justified and sensible.
