One common feeling that new meditators (or even old meditators) have is a desire for peace, for calm, for tranquility.
There is nothing wrong with that aspiration of course, but often on our way to finding peace, we find “the edge” – we come face to face with our own restlessness, anxiety and aggression.
If we don’t back away from that edge, if we meet it with awareness, that’s when our practice can really go deeper.
