Mental Weather

During meditation practice and in our lives off the cushion, it can be helpful to relate to the activity in our mind as “weather”. We just let it come and go and appreciate all of it without aversion or grasping. Of course, sometimes we will have “extreme” weather and it may be more challenging to “hold our seat” so to speak.
