Mindfulness is sometimes presented as a complete meditation practice unto itself, but more generally it is linked with the practice of awareness.
Mindfulness is finding that dot of attention and placing it right here in the present moment, usually using an object of meditation like the breath to support the practice.
Awareness is then expanding out from that dot and noticing everything around it – exploring what is happening in the “space” of nowness.
