Obstacles As Path

Sometimes when we move toward deepening our meditation practice, rather than everything going smoothly, obstacles arise. When we study the lives of the great masters in the past, it sometimes seems that they had nothing but obstacles. However, these difficulties themselves can provide friction, contrast, and the opportunity to deepen our practice – developing generosity, discipline, patience, exertion, and compassion.
