The sun seems to be the best analogy for our primordially awake mind. Nobody has to go up there and stoke the sun.
Unlike a cell phone which you have to plug in every night to recharge, you don’t have to recharge the sun. In the same way our own basic goodness does not have to be recharged, conjured, or created.
Please consider this next time you are slogging away at your meditation practice. It may feel like hard work, but you are simply uncovering your natural state.
