Practicing meditation we notice everything — our thoughts, our sensations, anything that arises — and what happens is that the story line begins to fade a little.
Normally we want to immediately write the screenplay of our experience but the sense of this practice is just going along with things as they arise and evaporate. Just kind of riding awareness without too much journaling of the ups and downs.
