The Main Obstacle to Patience

In the Buddhist teachings, the main obstacle to patience is aggression, as in “when you guys figure it out and finally get it together, let me know because I’ve been waiting here with the right answer all along.” That’s not the kind of patience we’re talking about.

Genuine patience has a very awake quality, neither dull nor repressive, but there’s less aggression in it, because we have relaxed our ego-driven agenda.
